Nah it's probably like the farm protests in Syria. They started out organic and then foreign interference was applied in order to cause shit to hit the fan.
Not saying that's what's going to happen here. the US Department of Defense might have changed it's longterm policy after getting humiliated in Afghanistan.
But the fact that this protest is getting elevated in US Media would definitely suggest that there's actors on this side that would love to see that happen in Iran.
Photographic memories a bitch. I remember watching a news channel documentary about the struggle of women in Afghanistan under the Taliban years before the 9/11 terror attack which was basically just execution porn. All about women being dragged to their soccer stadium and then shot in the back of the head for simple things like wearing makeup and shit. I'll bet nobody with a lesser memory than my own actually remembers watching that documentary now let alone some years after when 9/11 happened.
But it's a darn useful coincidence they did see it because their reflexive intuition was already primed to accept military action against Afghanistan.
